APANI® Rosso di Montalcino DOC is made exclusively from 100% Sangiovese grapes, the noble varietal that defines the character of this remarkable wine. APANI® Rosso di Montalcino is a younger, perfectly balanced wine with good freshness and maturity, making it a versatile choice for various occasions. It’s an intense and structured red wine produced in the southeastern part of the municipality of Montalcino. It is made from pure Sangiovese grapes; the vines, an average age of 16 years, are grown on soils rich in calcium and clay. Harvesting is strictly by hand. After the first fermentation there is racking into French oak tonneaux for aging for at 12 months. Rosso di Montalcino APANI® By Marilisa Allegrini DOC has a medium body and silky tannins provide a perfectly balanced taste experience, highlighted by notes of fresh red fruits, earthy spices, and a hint of tobacco.
